The group exhibition Polychrom celebrates multicolour. Side by side, layered, intertwined – constructed, poured, extended into space, radiant or iridescent – colour unfolds in a wide range of forms. The exhibition brings together object-like paintings created from coloured materials, alongside works in which colour is transformed through different media. Some of the all-over compositions are shaped by gesture and evoke a sense of process, while in others new technologies or cultural references come into play. In an age of digital image overload, the exhibition invites visitors to immerse themselves in a sensual, non-representational cosmos without losing touch with the world.
